Oct 28-31, 2007 Sendai International Center Sendai, Japan In 2005, the Kyoto protocol came into effect after seven years of negotiation. Now it is time to take strong action to reduce green house gas emissions. Buildings are significant sources of emission, and we must reconsider many aspects of their design, construction and operation. This meeting is the sixth in the series of international conferences devoted to an integrated approach to design and operation of buildings. The IAQVEC 2007 conference will provide a comprehensive overview of the latest research results in the area of IAQ, Ventilation and Energy Conservation in Buildings; and will serve as a forum for exchange of information, ideas and results, as well as opportunity for private discussion.
